Free Eye Camp Jaranwala

A free eye surgical camp was organized by the Prevention of Blindness Trust (POB Trust) and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan at Hameeda Yousaf Welfare Hospital Jaranwala from November 27 to November 30, 2023. The camp aimed to provide free eye care services to the poor and needy people of the Jaranwala district, who could not access or afford them otherwise. The camp offered free eye check-ups, medicines, glasses, and surgeries to the patients, who were screened by a team of qualified and experienced doctors and nurses. The camp also raised awareness about the prevention and treatment of common eye diseases, such as cataract, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. The camp was a success, as it served more than 1500 patients, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the organizers and the volunteers.
